Growing up in Queens this man put in much work and inspired an gang of writers coming up. Cost along with Revs took the city by storm with their wheatpasting campaign. In my opinion these cats were the first to make an impact with wheatpasting and roller tags. No one at this time was thinking about using these other mediums to get their message out. They had offers from galleries at the time in the early 90's but choose to never go that route. Def a big inspiration in the work that I do.
