Out and About

As I get closer and closer to turning 30 and embracing my old man balls. When I do decide to go out I decide to make them count. Stepped to the Me Magazine Paul Gondry issue/art release party. Ended up talking shit with Mordechai, Jason, Eugene, and Benjamin over at the Antique Garage. Then headed out to Lugers for a dinner that was owed to me thanks to Soul. I must give Soul dap for not denying his LI roots and copping a brand new spanking jeep! Come a long way dun! Ended the night over at the Fish were to my surprise Snotty was working the door. Beware to all out of town douche bags! Act up get smacked up!

La Cura

I feel complete now that I have finally witnessed The Cure live. Saw Morrissey seven times and Depeche Mode twice. I can easily say The Cure whooped all those performances and more. A Letter To Elise, In Between Days, Love Song, Charlotte Sometimes, 10:15 Saturday Night, and Boys Don't Cry. Three hours and ten minutes of full on emoness along with two encores. Brendon had to hold me back from full on tackling Robert Smith when he walked up to our section.

ATMOS INTERVIEW

\
Did my first full on interview with Mr. Kristoff Murphy over at ATMOS up in Harlem. I met Kris when he was grinding it out over at America Magazine as an intern. He was running around for the lovely Aixa Weekes. We built at NDG and the rest is history. Now he is a BOSS in the making, running tings up in Harlem. Tried not to jerk myself too hard in the interview and kept it pretty honest. Click on header for full snooze fest....

Les Rallizes Denudes

Bugged out Japanese experimental rock band. Crazy hypnotic bass lines that you can't help but bop your head to. I have never been a fan of any experimental genre of music. Especially jazz! I think Chick Corea should be thrown in a river but I can't front I have been getting down to Pharoah Sanders as of late. Point being if I didn't get open on Pharoah I wouldn't have been able to dig Les Rallizes Denudes. Their tunes are made perfect for taking a fistful of schrooms and taking a walk around Central Park with the headphones on blast. Thanks Dave for putting me on to them.

Patrick Ervell

Dope, fresh and clean.

WestOne FC

Yes from time to time I still take decent photo's. Shot stills of friend and co-worker Mr. West FC paintings not too long ago. If your not familiar with West then you have no business waking up in the morning. King of the 1 Train in the mid-80's, helped create a new vision for grafitti production walls and was a founder of one of my favorite brands PNB Nation(not the pussy whooped Nic Cannon version that exist today!). These works are the foundation for his show coming up in Paris. The pleasure was all mine Westo!
